Intro to Maya

Hello,


My name is Maya Recinos. I am a college student majoring in International Business and Economics at Sam Houston State. The idea of this blog in my opinion is to grow and learn through my experiences at different churches with my friend Lauren. I figure it more as a different adventure every Sunday. I am a Christian and attend The Woodlands United Methodist church in Texas. I am not an avid church goer (I attend maybe once every month). I had this idea to go worship at different churches every Sunday. There is really no time frame for this adventure, we were thinking until the spring semester but a week to week basis seems more convenient. With the Fall semester just starting I figured this adventure/experience could be an interesting new hobby aside from studying. The places of worship we will be attending are around Houston, Magnolia, and the Woodlands Texas (to give you an idea of our location). There is no particular reason or order in the churches we chose. They are pretty much chosen by random interests and crazy opinions about different religions. We will try to go to different “places of worship” every Sunday. Then hopefully within a reasonable time frame we will both blog about our experiences, and opinions.
